Hypnotherapy can help to change your mind! Whether that is a simple change such as being confident about
flying,
stopping smoking etc. or a more complex change like getting rid of
anxiety. The therapy depends upon the condition, as do the number of sessions you will require.
Hypnotherapy is not about being put into a 'trance' and
giving up control. Hypnotherapy involves you entering into a very
relaxed state, you do not give up control and you are aware of
what is going on around you. Under therapeutic hypnosis you cannot be
made to do anything you do not want to do.

Neuro Linguistic Programming
#NLP is a method of pschotherapy that is able to create
new behaviour or thought patterns in contrast to those that are
inhibiting progress.
Everything you do, believe, imagine is recorded in your
brain as though it were real. So that means everytime you think you
will fail, or be scared, or make a fool of yourself, you are
reinforcing your ability to do that with ease. NLP is all change about
the way you thyink of these things so that you can transfer your
abilities to more positive results.

#Yoga Therapy
Yoga is a form of practise that is beneificial to the
mind, body and spirit. During a remedial Yoga session, usually done
as one-one, specific problems can be targetted. While it will be
neccessary to work on the whole body to create balance, postures will
be chosen to alleviate the problem whether that be anxiety, stiffness
or long term alignment problems which are now resulting in arthritis or
rheumatism.

#Colour Therapy
Your choice of colour and the colours you don't choose reflect the balance of energy within your body.
In a similar way to being unable to
not communicate you cannot not choose a colour. Colour can be used to
help aid the healing process within your body and has been used
successfully in burns units for instance where blue walls have been
shown to speed up the recovery rate of severly burned children.
Imbalances in your body energies
can result in your feeling not quite right but without there being
anything consciously wrong and sometimes that is an inability to
funcation to your maximum potential with one energy area of your life.
Colour therapy uses you choices of
colour to aid the process followed by a period of energy therapy which
might include light, coloured material or crystals. The aim being to
give you the option to take a more balanced approach to approaches to
life.

#Reflexology
or zone therapy, is the practice of massaging,
squeezing, or pushing on parts of the feet, or sometimes the hands and
ears, with the goal of encouraging a beneficial effect on other parts
of the body, or to improve general health.
It is believed that that areas on the foot
correspond to areas of the body, and that by manipulating these one can
improve health. It is also
believed that these zones reflect energy (Qi), and that blockages of
energy in the body are reflected through "grit" or "lumps" on the foot.
A clinical reflexologist can often tell, simply by the conidtion of
your feet where you may have problem in your body and it is not unusual
to hear 'Have you got a problem with your right shoulder?' for instance.

can not be accommodated. The centre is normally open on Saturdays
between 11am and 4pm for casual callers to have a look around, we often
have a free or very reasonably priced talk on during the middle of the
day too and there are some therapies available most Saturdays. i.e.
Aqua Detox, Chi Machine, Tootsie Treats etc. If you are intending to
make a special trip it is always best to check as we are sometimes away
at functions and events.
